Edward, a young engineer, ambitious and imprisoned by the need to perform professionally, suffers an accident caused by the hectic life he led.

Forced to stay in the mobile for a few months, he becomes anguished, discouraged and questions himself: Would the material aspect be the ultimate goal?

The idea of the transience of life, which the accident had brought him; also leading him to conclude that up to that date his life had been almost only study and work, nothing more.
